In The Midst of a Real Estate War
If you thought that a Real Estate purchase only involved a buyer, seller and their agents, it may surprise you to know that through the course of a Real Estate transaction there are as many as 25 people involved. Each and everyone has the exact same goal in mind, but play a different part in seeing that goal achieved.
I am constantly amazed at how quickly the buyers or the sellers or maybe both loose sight of that fact. We have become a cautious society from deals gone wrong and experiences where maybe we and others were taken advantage of.
When either the buyer or the seller begins to develop an attitude that it is all about them and they will do as they please regardless of how it affects all the others involved, they don’t realize that they are really just hurting themselves. Because we are all attempting to achieve the same goal, when you hinder any one person in that process you are preventing the achievement of your own goal.
As a Realtor, one of my biggest challenges is to “keep the peace” and help everyone work together and focus on the goal. There is always a lot of compromise in a Real Estate transaction, but even in compromise everyone can win.
Please remember that all the people involved, the buyers, the sellers, the Realtors, the inspectors, the handymen, the office personnel, the title company personnel, the lender, processor and even the underwriters are working hard to complete the Real Estate transaction for you, regardless of how it seems. Without them, you would not be able to buy a home.
So, when you are ready to buy or sell your home, put on a smile and be ready to roll up your sleeves and work hard together with all the others involved in helping you achieve your dream of owning a home.
If you are ready to make your home dreams come true, give me a call today. I will be glad to help you!! 405-921-8449
