Last night we were privileged to attend a motorcycle ride with a group from our local church. As we arrived at the meet, it looked like it was going to be a small group. As we were introducing and being introduced to one another, more bikers arrived and the group quickly grew. After a very sincere prayer for a kick start, we pulled away to start the adventure to our destination. And, people were still coming in. As we continued the introductions at stop lights, we soon arrived at Ken’s Restaurant in Amber, Ok. We were all seated in a very short time and enjoyed getting to know each other and laughing. We were served quickly with our meal. The Wait Staff was unreal in efficiency. The Management did a great job. After the eating, laughing, and general socialization was over, we fired up the bikes, and the group started back to Oklahoma City. As we arrived into the outskirts of the city, bikers started dissipating back to their homes and to the church.
Most of the information above is for those who have not been to a group ride. I would invite you to at least try it once. To riders who rode on this trip, I could go on and on about the power and the grace I felt about how well the ride went. If you think about a little restaurant serving us quickly and so efficiently, it was unreal. Feel free to write how the experience was for you, or if you have any questions or input for future rides.
Thanks for reading and riding.
